Re: New Front Harness / Longer Bag?

Generally just trying to keep as much weight off the front as possible. More weigh, more grip  Good call. I'll order a pizza! If you have the space under your stem, one of these will support the bottom of the harness and will help keep it away from the head tube and front wheel - https:...

Re: New Front Harness / Longer Bag?

Bleh, that Pronghorn is a spicy price, but it might just be what I'm after.

Edit - This one also seems long, but also on the heavier side.

New Front Harness / Longer Bag?

Hi all. I've got a couple of a fairly long trips coming up (7-10 days) and I've realised that my old front bag setup isn't really going to work out (Wildcat Lion / Exped Blue). I've noticed that I'm getting a decent amount of rub on my front wheel when descending, and whilst I don't think it's going...

Re: Fat Fighters '24. The year for deflation!

Bizarrely I'm up 2kg over the last two days. No obvious intake reasons, can only assume hormonal oddness.

Stupid bodies.

Re: Fat Fighters '24. The year for deflation!

Maybe worth reframing?

I might have cared about being slim for looks when I was a kid, but I've long since accepted I'm going to look like garbage at any sort of healthy weight anyway.

I lose weight for health, longevity (I hope) and performance, every kg helps.

Re: WRT entries open

Bah, not sure I can make it work this year. Two days later I'm supposed to be in Spain riding with Duncan and (Sweary) Dave. Not sure it would be sensible to take my last minute panic weekend and schedule to be away. Surely the answer is to pack before the WRT and don't unpack until you return from...

Not 100%, but it's not looking like I'm going to make it. Not the bike for once.

Really busy with work (still working as of the time of this post), and just don't see myself being able to get away. A real shame as it looks nice for once.

Re: Contents / bike cover for many, many bikes..

Related, don't ever get a house with a detached garage. Because it's treated as an "outbuilding" it's a major, major pain in the arse to get a home insurance policy that'll cover bikes stored there for any sort of decent amount. I doubt most people would know as they've probably got better...

Re: Fat Fighters '23

Just to let you guys know that I am indeed human... I'm really struggling to sort my diet out again since my "season" finished.

It seems that if I'm not fully on it (calorie counting, big deficits etc), I'm doomed to just eat like sub standard / gain weight.
