Re: Cane Creek Headset - incomplete

Kaiser

It took me a while but I see what you mean.
It appears both cups are missing.
Looking at the CC diagram I have the bolt and cap, top cover and bearing, bottom bearing and crown race.
So it is even more incomplete than I thought.

Re: Cane Creek Headset - incomplete

Is top cup hidden under the cap ? Also may I ask is that the crown race with the blue border ? Thanks. No top bit goes in head tube as per normal and cap sits on top. Parts shown green are the bearing top and bottom. Bottom bearing is for a tapered fork. The green bit is the crown race(?). See http...

Unused Cane Creek Headset ZS44 EC44/40 - Tapered.
Missing bottom cup for some reason but does have 2 x double star nut.
Cup is available as a separate part if you search the internet.

All the bearings and dust covers are there.

Way OT Saddle sanding jig (musical instrument related)

Way off topic but do any of the musicians here have one of those roller jigs for reducing saddle height? Was going to buy one but they are a bit spendy for a once in a lifetime use. I need to intonate a uke as string action is too high. Could take it to the luthiers but it would be an interesting ex...

Thanks but going to rethink clearing out everything in one hit.
Loops are going back on as the bike was originally configured for them.
What can sold will be sold.
The rest on 'trash nothing' and failing that the tip.

Re: Ti Stooge for sale.

What model and size? The model is the short chain stay version. The design is such that there is only one size. You adjust reach with seat post height/set back and or stem length. Sounds weird but works although probably makes it a bit niche. I cant find specific information but I think Andy...

Re: Steripen Ultralight. Any good?

Yes and I was never ill but then that was in Scotland, Wales and Southwest always from fast flowing streams. The biggest danger I found was rock hopping on larger streams to get to where the water was flowing. Remember always stir clockwise while the light is on then once anticlockwise when it goes ...

Re: Crow Fazua questions.

Thanks hadn't seem that Cairn use Fazua. I note your comment re stiffness of removing the battery/motor it always appears so easy in promo. Then they show the dummy tube packed with stuff just to keep the weight up. :???: Fazua also do a 'water bottle' extender battery or you have options on main ba...

Re: Crow Fazua questions.

I chose Fazua because it is an assist rather than a drive so the bike still functions as a bike with or without the battery. The large drive motor Bosch style versions look too heavy and not even sure if they function without power. You can tell I am an expert as I have never ridden or owned one. Ri...

Crow Fazua questions.

Finally thinking about getting mobile again after three years feeling rubbish so a couple of bike questions.
Does anyone ride a Crow Cycles gravel ebike? (Read the reviews seen the yt videos.)
Does anyone ride a Fazua powered ebike road or gravel and what is it like to live with?

Been thinking about this lately and the best I can come up with is Tom Waits Shiver Me Timbers.
I might even record my own version that will clear the room.
