Re: Things that make you sad.

Afraid to say based on first hand experience over many years that that is not true
Genuinely interested - what have you seen them hunting? I've been watching then for years and only seen then feeding on carrion or earthworms.

Re: SPOT Tracker Renewal Fees - Being Gouged?

I will be cancelling mine. I don't use it year round (although I kid myself I do!). Wil be going with InReach - I like the facility to send text messages - I think this will be more useful in the minor emergency type situation.

Re: The post man's been ...

This one's 8x5 which will be big enough for me. Had extra lifters added similar to the Alpkit tarps (carefully avoiding swear filter here  ), also had a couple of internal attachment points added, partly to attach a lifter from the bivy bag to keep that off my face and partly for an idea I ha...

Re: Dyno hub testing

My revo laced to 29 rims and 2.4 Maxxis Icon only lights up all 4 LEDs at 15mph. Not sure if this is right or wring but I've had two hubs now (first one stopped working and was replaced straight away by Exposure) and both have been the same i.e. 4 LEDs at 15mph+.
