Re: Bivvy a Month 2017.

Snuck January's BAM in last night. :-bd Rode to my local nature reserve. Was drizzling lightly when I left so risked just the hooooooped (speeeling just for Reg) bivvy. Light rain continued. Dozed off felling almost too warm but work up at 4am feeling chilly despite the thermal top and longs, down j...

Re: What's the attraction of bivvy bags

Interesting initial question and replies. I’ve always used either a one man tent or a hooped bivvy-bag. I enjoy the enclosed womb-like?? sense of being in an small enclosed space. I really enjoy lying in the hopped bivvy looking at the stars and then zipping it closed and dozing off. Pitchin...

Sorry to hear this news.

LHC team 'B' got a real shock when he met us on the track as we returned to Bear Bones Towers on last year's WRT (turns out he'd snuck out) Not what we expected to see at all, at the side of a Welsh track

1/1/17 78.8kg 12/1/17 76.8kg! So minus 2kg... :o Through not snacking, no chocolate (except once), still no booze (just over a year now since my dry jan overran), smaller portions, and trying to eat more healthily... Sure it'll fluctuate, as that serms a lot to lose in a short space of time... But i...

might we be a mini trend in 207 then a full on trend in 2018 or will we just be old (bobble) hat by then...?

Re: TOGS......can't be that hard.

A pair of stubby barends cut down to 2-3cm and mounted in board of the grips would do much the same. I'd had the same thought, but then through laziness bought a pair of TOGS. I'd not realised quite how 'thin' they are - so they don't get in the way when placed between the inner end of the grip ad ...
