Montanas Vacias anyone?

Im looking for a fun and tough route for late April/early May. The Montanas Vacias circular route looks really good to me. It seems like it will be pleasant weather without getting too cold up high. It also seems nicely remote and exciting. Add this to the circular nature and easy flight out, and it...

Recommendations for a hot knife

Mrs B has taken to making bags. Lots of the straps and webbing need to be cut and heat sealed. It seems that a hot knife is the ideal instrument for this, but they seem pretty expensive.

Has anyone got one they can recommend, or maybe a diy solution for making one?

Thanks

That looks absolutely brilliant fun.

Im a shameful world of ditching kids in front of xbox and YT, taking kids in that adventure has made me really happy.

Well done all, top Dadding!

Re: Panaracer sk tires...dont buy them

We have used several sets in two different bikes for over 4 years.

Then includes slate quarries in N Wales. TNR, Italy Divide

I would definately buy and use again

Sadly an admitted no injury common assault with no previous offending behaviour will end up very often in a caution

Re: A Bike Race (around Wales)

If the authorities or powers that be want to, then we are pretty easy to find and scrutinise. I was chatting to a recently retired mployee of Natural Resources Wales last week. He told me they actively use Strava to see where people are riding on their land to see what mtb trails are being built. Ma...

I ama recent convert to an open top rather than open ended bar bag. My alpkit c.11L double ended drybag works well, but ive always found it a faff getting things out of it or remounting it on the bars. I now use a smaller Ortlieb open top bag that attaches directly to the bars with some great velcro...

Hi Shaf,
Do you remember selling me some Shimano Ultegra grade hubs? They were disc and qr. Well they still live in the garage in the packaging you sent them in. Are they of interest?
