We have good waterproof shells that we are happy with. We use a Galibier gilet which has some sythetic inaulation. Ideally it need to be a littl...

That would be fine if it is disc. How much do you want for it? Is it true and bearings ok?

Wanted...29er Rear wheel, 135 qr

I have been fixing bikes up for a friends children. Its gone really well and they come out with me now. She also wants to cycle and has been given an old 29er with no rear wheel. Does anyone have a decent 29 rear wheel with 135 qr? Budget is pretty low as she is a single mum but i would rather get h...

Re: North to South Wales

If you go onto The Racing Collective, they have a great route for XduroWales. You can get the GPX off the site.
I have done it twice and really enjoyed myself

Re: Strava to Garmin Etrex problem...

Ok, so when i got home, i had another go at this….. I went to the athletes profile i was copying and pulled up the map of the route. Instead of clicking DOWNLOAD GPX, i clicked CREATE ROUTE and it the pulled up a route making page. I just clicked SAVE and it created a smaller file than before, which...

Strava to Garmin Etrex problem...

I have seen a couple of rides that Strava buddies have done and wanted to follow the same route…. I go to the map of the ride and click GPX download. When this has downloaded, i drag and drop into my Garmin Etrex 30x. The file appears in track manager and i select it. So far so good. However when i ...

Re: Drive train cleaner / degreaser?

I cant imagine anything better than Virosol (though this may be a personal failing). I use it in the park chain cleaner, then use a toothbrush in the last of the liquid in the chain cleaner to brush the cassette and chainrings. I then hose it off straight away. Its alkaline so it can fade bright ano...

Re: Drive train cleaner / degreaser?

The little plastic box i find totally fantastic. That and a toothbrush really makes your drive chain look like new. We use VIROSOL its a commercial floor degreaser. Its quite alkaline but brings all the grease off. We rinse everything and relube when dry. Its available from commercial cleaning suppl...

SRAM guide grub screw?

In a wave of optimism for fixing my seized SRAM Guide master cylinder, i have dropped (and lost) one of the grubscrews that holds the lever pivot captive.

My Google-fu has failed to turn up a replacement for sale.

Does anyone know where i can buy one?

Thanks

Re: Ruska2020

It seems great, but its pretty tough. The entry form is like the TCR with you having to explain the rules etc. I have no idea how much English is spoken, or even if there is anyone to speak it to. Im guessing my poor Franch and worse Welsh would be redundant. Its meant to be after the rain, but befo...
