SOLD : EXPED Synmat UL 7 M
Used but still serviceable - I seem to use my X Therm instead most of the time now Always used with an EXPED Shnozzle tube (included) and optimised (!) stuff sac (about 20 litres but easy to change) I have given it a clean in line with Exped's instructions but a few marks remain from use and storage...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024
March was ticked on Thursday night around the storm Very windy at Costa del Severn so no need to pedal on the river path heading north - the old bridge ahead had blue lights flashing as it was closed to cars Cycled out across the Severn plain and through Ingst to meet a friend in Olveston for a catc...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024
My tent is a Vango Helium UL1.
Got it very cheap on E bay, as it had a hand stitched repair on a section of the inner zip.

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024
Ticked February last week. I have a reasonably regular Tuesday meet up with an old friend where we do loops on the Ashton Court trails, Leigh Woods, Flax Bourton lanes and hopefully end up at the Miners Rest for beer and Twiglets. He has a FS e-MTB, so I have added a Tongsheng unit to an ex gumtree ...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024
Not sure if I will do the full year, but might as well get January in the bank. With a few dry sunny days in the forecast I thought I would get to the Black Mountains midweek, no fixed plan except a night in the bothy and generally road miles so went for panniers on my commuter/shopping bike and eas...

Re: Turkey Türkiye
Never been there on a bike, but walked a lot, very hospitable and great food available everywhere.
I recommend Julian Sayarer recent book for a current view. He cycled across last year for the centenary of modern Turkey.
