As well as my travers fat bike I’m wanting to use my gravel bike for a bit of bikepacking I was wondering is there anything out there to keep my dry bag (8litre )from fouling my cables and shifting?

My lads scout troop have had a sort out of there tents ,my lad brought the outer skin of a 6 man tent ( I’ve not measured it yet ) home ,got me thinking about it been used to make a couple of tarps .ive neitherthe time or the skill but was wondering if there is anyone out there that has

From my very minimal early doors research the nearest thing we can find at the moment is the sustrains reivers trail .had a busy couple of weeks so not had a real great opportunity to do some proper research.thought asking on here might help pool some more knowledge and guidance

In brief (as I’m in a rush to get out and check the calving cows )planning to go coast to coast as close to Hadrian’s wall as we can and as much off road as possible,anyone got any links or suggestions please ,doesn’t matter if it means two nights away as I’ll be doing it with jnr my 12 yr old son ....
