Re: B150

Will be posting/emailing final route tomorrow arvo if that is OK. Weather looking gangbusters. Pizza on Friday night and sunny miles Sat/Sun. There will be one tiny section of footpath at Watersmeet. This ensures an offroad ride most of the way down into Lynmouth rather than a dog leg on bridleway a...

Re: B150

Horner Farm do pizza (and it is very good) so if anyone wants food the night before that is a good shout. A stones throw from the local campsite. Need to book the pizza.

Re: B150

Will run anti clockwise as normal. It is a draft route so might run wrong way just due to editing on bikehike. Some sections down near Dulverton to iron out yet before finalised.

Car park here.

Re: B150

No so different. Adding a drop down to Dulverton and back up to make it more of a loop and take in SE Exmoor. Going up 2 miler to Dunkery Beacon instead of down (which is a bit of stinker but with start from Horner is very early on) and then a key beach section along Saunton beach and raised boardwa...

Re: B150

Right ITT group start on Saturday 17th July at Horner Wood car park, Luccombe. Shall we say 9am? Camp site a stones throw away and pretty sure the farm does pizza on the Friday night. https://drive.google.com/file/d/17u8agz_XoXvPzV4-eP4cXqfGZx2Vufbf/view?usp=sharing Provisional route above. Will twe...

B150

Thinking of running a ITT group start for the B150 on Exmoor over the summer. Is there a preference for date so as to avoid clashes with other routes? Is there any appetite for it at all?

New route dropping down to Dulverton and then back up and up Two Miler to Dunkery instead of down it.

Cheers

Re: BASQUE BIKEPACKING: VUELTA DE VASCO

I was going to pick up the route in Bilbao (just using the gpx from the bikepacking website). It is joining it up to Santander that is the trick. I don't mind plotting a route and winging it but if there is an established loop and trails that would be less risky.

I live in N Devon so want to go from Plymouth as just a short train to the ferry port and away. Hence starting in Santander.

BASQUE BIKEPACKING: VUELTA DE VASCO

I want to head out to do this route at the end of September. Going to get the ferry from Plymouth to Santander. Has anyone ridden the Camino del Norte as this looks a good way to get to the start of the Vasco loop. If there are any other suggestions for linking it up and/or making as longer loop inc...

Re: B150 gpx

gpx is now available. A little different but not tweaked too much. The 'downhill' course is out due to felling which will please some.. Had a few questions about parking and accommodation. The course is a self supported endeavor. Braunton is a large village with lots of facilities including parking ...
