Re: ... and so it continues.

You only have to look at the number of wild camping videos on youtube to see that stealth aspect is being flaunted. That fellow from Durham who was posted on here for discovering bikepacking is one of many posting videos promoting it openly to a wider audience. At least on here it is kept within the...

Re: Public footpath gone AWOL

I doubt anyone would ever get prosecuted for cycling on a footpath (as opposed to a pavement.) Courts recognise that some laws are perverse in modern context and so I doubt that any CPS lawyer would run such a case, it will fail almost certainly at the test of in the public interest. So unless your ...

Re: Public footpath gone AWOL

I wonder if it could be deemed that pushing a bike through the crops is criminal damage? It could be if you have turned up to use the bike to damage crops but not if that is the way the path goes as in the OP's case So follow a path fine - ride through a wheat field deliberatedly for no reason then...

That Cycling UK article is misleading, particularly what they cite after mentioning DPP v Jones.

Re: Wtd: foot end carbon pole for TT Stealth 1

Hello Shaf,

I usually just anchor the foot end of mine to the bike, even though I have the pole.

I would be surprised though if Stu wouldn't sort you a shortie.

Daft question but are you sure the batteries just don't need replacing and they are only visible in proper darkness?

I've not used Strava for years and so there may be a slight leakage in recollection but I'm sure that's what I did.
Someone will probably have a more straightforward way to do it though.

Re: Strava to Garmin Etrex problem...

I think used to have this problem and I had to actually open the file in something like Bikehike and specifically save it as a GPX track for it to show all the waypoints.

Re: What are you listening to now?

I'm not a musician and so I can't comment on technique, nevertheless, I have recently taken to watching drum cam footage and some of them just mesmerize me. I prefer bludgeon to finesse so I can watch clips like this one over and over again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnN_cyCenq4&list=RDxnN_cyC...

Don''t think I'll be snapping at the heels of the times already posted though.

My Five Ten Impacts dry at a rate that can only be described as akin to continental drift. If that's your main factor, I'd avoid.

UK Subs - Camden Town 1980 - Memorable for the fact that unbeknownst to me, who was slightly pickled and was happily dancing with myself, all the skins had grouped to one side and all the punks on the other. I vaguely remember the brief feeling of space before both sides slammed into each other and...

One of the best bands around for ticking the Rousing and Melodic boxes have a taster track out for their new album.

It'll be a must buy for me on the strength of it.

I have the exped pillow pump but I move about too much for it to stay where I want it. I now use a sea to summit pillow which I get on much better with, and it's easier to find the sweet spot with regard to hardness/softness. It means I use a schnozzle pump bag but as I never sleep well, at least th...
