Last minute BB200 GPS woes ***Solved** Ignore

Typically with a day to go, my Etrex 30 wants to hide from all my computers, so I can't load the BB route onto it.

Any ideas as to why?

I might just dash out and grab a newer device - Any suggestions please?

Serves me right for leaving it too late but HELP!

Re: BB200 route.

I was getting somewhat confused (easily done) about McDonalds in Welshpool until I twigged you were on the 300 - Hell of a detour for a Big Mac otherwise.

I'm stopping at The Aleppo in Carno. I'll see what it's like for a possible alternative for next year.

Unless I did it very, very wrong... yes. :P
Always worth checking after my rubbish attempt at the LL200.

I've gone back in time and am now having my milk, eggs and a few other bits delivered by a genuine milko. Or milky, as he seems to want to be known. He's been plying the streets of the Chalfonts in his electric open-side van forever, and I finally stopped him on an early dog walk a few weeks ago to...

Didn't Peter and the Test Tube Babies have something to say about them?

It's the Ride Fast bit I struggle with, maybe a Bimble Along Hopelessly option for next year?

Re: Wildlife

Some wildlife advice:

When you come across a windfall tree trunk that spans your route, don't just try and move it without checking, you might get on the wrong side of these buggers. Ouch x 3

Furthermore, don't then go back to take a photo of them. Ouch x 2.

Over the past week or so I've encountered a number of birds of prey - Distance and poor camera on phone means rubbish images but here goes.

There was a young chap at my daughter's wedding last weekend who had broken the record for this the week before, he did 333 miles in 3 and a half days. He still came second though. Amazing effort and he is off to compete in the originator event this Autumn.

There are Otters on a stretch of river near me. The location is the last place I'd have imagined they would live, I couldn't believe it when I saw one, but I imagine that's a good thing they are there. I've told no one as it will attract the very wrong sort of attention if it becomes more widely kno...

I keep thinking I like Space Rock but then listen to some and find out I don't really. This is a recurring act. Anyway, I've found one that I do like, I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYMrkLIx2yk One thing I do know I like is this lot's new album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO1afbuo1-o
