Ta to you all from us riders too & for encouraging us out into the wilds of Welsh wales. It’s always a fantastic weekend - and always gives a great story or two to recount over tea and cake.

Re: The Great WRT Bake Off - a plea
Hi, I can bring along a spicy ginger tray bake thingy, assuming I can sneak it in without Simon noticing and scoffing it all en route

Re: Thanks for a great weekend
Totally agree - a fantastic weekend as always. Only this year we are checking out sun tan lines rather than wind burn or hail bruises  Thanks Stu & Dee for perfect organisation and gentle coercing to stop us getting soft :-bd & thanks Mike for getting us to the Sunday night pub - much f...

Re: WRT pics if anyones interested
Hi Reg, yep that was us. As well as surviving the WRT hail storm start, the 'your too late for food' cafe in Mach, the Traditional Tywyn Chippy 'Hospitality', we then had to face up to the flock of chip hungry giant sized gulls (not to mention a gaggle of LHC riders  ). Not sure I needed that ...

While we are in a thanking mood - I wanted to repeat everything already said! Great checkpoints, great event, great tea & cake, great llama, great adventures. Thanks Stu and Dee for pulling it all together. Despite the weather, tired legs and kit scattered everywhere we are still grinning ...

Re: Stans ZTR Crest Rims
Yep - I'm running them too. I'm a light rider but done a number of trips on them this summer loaded up and off road for one and two nights out. Been using them for around 6 months and no problems at all.

We came along & learnt about tarp origami and 1001 ways to boil a cup of water. Great sessions :-bd Just got home after a beautiful ride back ready to put our new found skills into action. Loved the whole weekend, although calves are a little tender after 3 hours of pogo-ing on the 'dance' floor...

Re: WRT 2015 non attendees - excuses and plans?
Team Sidebread were also one of the bailers - having got to the start, sat in the van with the sleet and rain hitting the window, we turned tail and ran down to Rhayader with the intent of riding day 2 and 3 instead. Needless to say, after a warm night in the pub in Rhayader on Saturday night we did...

Having been inspired by the WRT Lite (1st ever Bikepacking trip) we took advantage of a sudden 24 hour weather window & carried out a Derbyshire Ride Thing short rde - just got back with tired legs, dry kit & a memories of a fab camp spot last night  Just think - if it'd been the WRT t...

Re: WRT - Thank you
Hi Stu & Dee 1st time for me too & really loved it. 'Only' did the lite, but still managed to get a fair few Kms in & metres of climbing ticked off. Not sure I want to see a wind farm anytime soon either X_X Great experience & loved bumping into other WRTers en route. A great couple ...
