FS: Gram Counter Gear Litehouse Solo 1P Tent

https://www.thegreatoutdoorsmag.com/review/review-gram-counter-gear-litehouse-solo/ I bought this tent used here on the BB Forum in 2016 and I've used it a handful of times. It's a great little tent, but quite spartan. Would suit a smaller person. I am just over 6 feet tall. Very light weight at ~8...

Damn, I would love to buy that but we're in the process of moving house and got no monies. If it's still hanging around in a few months, I might be able to scrap it together.

Re: The 2022 Tour Divide watchers thread.

I see the 20 day pace marker has appeared (it might have been there a while but only just noticed it). Looks like Steve is about 100 miles ahead of it and he's also passed the 1000 mile mark :-bd . It’s been there since near the start and Steve has been well inside his target throughout. Quite impr...

Re: The 2022 Tour Divide watchers thread.

Reading elsewhere that a lot of riders have been evacuated by helicopter. I worry that this will get back to the Park Authorities who may stymie the event in future years. Also seen reports of a hotel in Whitefish being trashed by riders, it's not a good look for the race. Imagine if the Daily Mail...

This might not affect the route if they can still get through Flagg Ranch, but it could mean other road closures or impasses outside of the park as well.

Solid pace by Steve, well inside his 20 day target so far despite the tough conditions. I hope they catch a photo of him in Ovando today.

3 x Maxxis Chronicles (29x3") 120tpi

Burly 29x3" 120TPI tyres with EXO sidewall. I bought these just before they were discontinued, but I haven't been riding 29+ so much recently. 1 x never used 1 x used less than 100km 1 x used a bit more, but still plenty of life Runs tubeless super easy. Very puncture resistant. Any interest? K...

Re: Wst Kernow Way complete.

I rode most of the western loop a few weeks ago. There are a few nice single track sections, but I honestly found much of the route quite dull. The most scenic parts of Cornwall for me are the SW coastal path, which is almost all footpath with lots of walkers. I didn't have time do the eastern loop,...

Re: The Most Important Bikepacking Gear This Year!

Obviously, there's no point in dangling a mug from your bike unless you want the entire world to know that you're a knob - however, then placing said mug inside a purpose made bag in order not to get it full of crap when you could (and should have all along) packed it inside, is like the next step ...

I would guess that the strange bird noises you heard might be Snipes "drumming". I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuDZVc5agFU

Thank you! This had me wondering too! That’s the noise I was hearing!
