FS: seat post bag £10+

I have a Blackburn seat post bag that's survived multiple trips. Just like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blackburn-Outpost-Seat-Pack-Multi-Colour/dp/B013X32B5C/ref=asc_df_B013X32B5C/ , but with more wear. It sways a bit which I've managed to reduce with some extra straps to the seat stays. Dry b...

Sounds excellent.
I do have an idea how hard it is. I've 18+ years experience of debugging. It'll be worth it for the donations

Re: Are you analogue?

You could say it's about simplicity, less complexity. More reliable, less to go wrong. A spade is less hassle than ringing round getting quotes, arranging access, timing etc A handsaw makes less mess than than an electric one, and doesn't require an extension lead a brush is easier to put away than ...

Re: What do you recall from your 2 days (BB200s)

I remember Wotsits asking Stu after, "what dogshit was that Stu". Reply came back something like, "wasn't like that just lastweek". Standard reply I think  Was that the year I bumped into you after i'd slept in the disabled loo near Coed-y-Brenin, & we rode back with M...

Thanks. It's a long shot. I suspect it was shaken off the mount somewhere in the final parts of my ride.

What's this place? (a bothy?)

Anyone know what this place is? It looked a lot like a bothy inside. It was padlocked. Perhaps a private one? Was in the forest on the way over from Mach to Abergynolwyn https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AJFCJaV3W0sOQAca965eG_rtcePfPJYELXupzWX585YQYNyUGV8ZANaaY2eLUxpiv_a2oXtCd-6d54Kb3MrgBvQCkrBIp...

Lost on the WRT

I lost an exposure tracer rear light on my way back. Could be on the field, final descent into the farm, or anywhere before that. Could be anywhere really :???: A long shot, but if anyone is up that way anytime soon and miraculously spots it, please let me know. Looks like this: https://www.exposure...

Re: Bamboo Ts are back.

Was a birthday present from my wife and somehow even though she knows almost nothing about bikepacking I had some lovely carbon poles too [/quote That's because your good lady won them. I told her to sell them to you - with a discount obviously  She did explain. Thanks for the competition.

Do You know... [Route advice]

Just finalizing my WRT route.
Is there a way from Cwmystwyth or The Arch to Eisteddfa gurig through the forestry?
(The green dotted path from Ponterwyd towards Eisteddfa Gurig seems to run out at SN 794 826 which seems a bit odd) I was hoping to come down the hill onto this path

Re: WRT and routes.

I believe the route planning is all part of the spirit of it. It adds to the adventure.

I see no harm in doing so. Why not try, see how many takers you get? You can always use previous ride GPXs and send several on the same route(s) as paces would be different.
