Its not about the destination but about the journey.

It doesn't matter how far you ride or with what kit as long as you are enjoying yourself.

We did less miles than yourself but as the wife was riding with us it didnt really matter as we all had good fun.

I would take the 29er, we did it last year on CX bikes and whilst it was fun and bit of bounce would have made it a lot nicer.

I'll be doing it on a fatty this year though.

Stu,

Rhys, Clare and myself are considering it for next year, dont know whether to do the 66km first and then try the 150 or just jump straight into the 150k.

Not aiming for great times but to just to go and enjoy the whole experience.
