Re: Ergon saddles experiences?

They are not a bad saddle and I have one on my SS, however they are nowhere near as comfortable as the B17's I have on all my other bikes.

Strong 29+ wheel recommendation

So, I have managed to crack the rear wheel on my Surly ECR, therefore I am looking for suggestions for bombproof replacement 29+ wheels. The Hope fortus 35mm has caught my eye, however are there any other strong 35mm - 50mm wheels worth considering?

Re: Brooks saddles

I have had a B17 on my fatbike for the last 8 years without any issues and another fitted to my Fargo. That said, I have recently fitted an Ergon SMC4 to my S/S 29+ bike for the winter as it is one less thing to maintain when it is properly grim outside.

I have a large 9zero7 slider frame and 29+ wheelset which I could be tempted to part with if it was of any use to you.

Re: fargo question

I now have Ton's Fargo ^^^ which has been fitted with a set of Fu Manchu bars. I previously had another Fargo but I didn't get on with the drops, however I really like this one now that it has been fitted with swept bars and I find it to be very comfortable as a result. https://farm5.staticflickr.co...

Re: How wide is your bag??

Mine is 80mm wide and has a removable horizontal divider to keep things in check, but I normally remove it. It only really bulges if it is packed out with the likes of clothing etc.
