just for interest, the boat broke down mid trip yesterday, the detour is now the official route, between this and the extreme weather its been an interesting start to this years TA

not ridden but I know the guys behind them, all are accomplished riders who know what they want out of a bike, its not a bike packing bike by any means but designed for hooning around the woods and fast xc riding

interesting, my cumulous 250 is fine for me at 6.4, also happy with the alpkit quilt as well in terms of sizing

with all due respect to Ben, that list of reasons to not do something is what makes the difference, can't imagine Dan thinking like that, if you can't be bothered then your expectations of getting good photographs are unrealistic

every one of those can be improved by using something as simple as snapseed to process never mind lightroom or photoshop, its all there just waiting to be tweaked

I think the best advice to give is this read about the technicalities and understand them practice them.....lots and lots.... look at other photographs and understand what it is about them you like practice copying them....lots and lots.... take lots of photographs and don't expect that its just goi...

I've used the Pace in 650b flavour on my Vaya, they were okay for what you describe, dirt tracks, towpaths etc, felt slightly draggy on tarmac so have gone back to the Horizons Re Compass tyres, I'm surrounded by converts who are all evangelical about them so I tried a set of Snoquomie Pass 44mm on ...

John West do a range of rice and fish in a bag, about eight different flavours, very tasty when jet boiled,I need two bags though as there aint much in em, £1.50 a bag at Sainsburys
