Drop me an email Chris@highbark.co.uk

There's only a months activation to pay (about £15 I think?) And postage. Can't remember if there are batteries in it.

WRT

I know this will probbaly result in a torrent of screams, but has anyone ever crossed with a bike the Dovey at the rail bridge at Dovey Junction? There may or may-not be a walkway along it.

Re: Pleasant Valley Sunday.

Is there anything to ‘find’ at these checkpoints? Maybe a clip, a sign, a code, or maybe just a huge pile of fresh sausage-rolls, a hot bath and a massage?

Re: Which tapered dry bag?

Steve, I have just checked my old emails from 3 years ago. I think the taper bags are made from 210D dyneema which might mean a lot more to you than it does to me! I was charged £40 and happy to pay that. I've not had any water getting in there and normally have clothes, down jacket and a stove in t...

Re: Which tapered dry bag?

Joey (Mr Wild-Skye) did offer several thicknesses of DCFfabric. I went for the thickest one for that bag, black material (we chose a thinner one for feed bags etc). I got him to make two identical bags in case it didnt wear very well but two and a half years on (probbaly 30 trips) there is no damage...

Re: Which tapered dry bag?

I got this guy to make me one. I sent him some dimensions and he made it from superlight DCF. It's absolutly brilliant https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/wildskygear He's made virtually all my bags over the years (frame bag, taper bag, front roll, feed bags, peg bag, pole and tent bag). I weighed the old an...

Re: Stellar Entry List at Badlands 2021

Al Brownlee was interested in the Dales Divide 2021 being v Yorkshire and all that. I think it was far too near to Olympics time. Fair play to him having a go and especially because he didn't splash it all over the press.

Re: Dales Divide. anyone having a go ?

I'll be there  British Cycling had issued their guidance today after long consultation with Sport England and in turn with Government lawyers. Although bikepacking events are not mentioned (unsurprisingly) I think it is fair to assimilate the Dales Divide as a "sportive".  If so by 1...

Bing maps is pretty good. You can switch overlays including 50k and 25k OS as well as satellite image making it pretty good to scroll around UK routes and fathom what they might look like.
