Re: contact lenses?

I've been wearing contact lenses since they cost as much as a house. (Back in 1979 you got one pair and they lasted about a year). Spent most of my teens on my hands and knees searching for the one that got away. (the lens that is) I've broken every rule I was told about wearing them and I'm still a...

A journey through the Draa Valley - Morocco

Hi all, I haven't been on the forum for a while but I'm back and starting to work my way through the posts. Feels like I've missed out on loads of cool goings on and great trips. This is the first part of two about bikepacking through the Draa Valley in Morocco. A 100 km stretch between Zagora and A...

They were simple iron structures with a part where you could stuff straw/rushes dipped in tallow or some form of animal fat to which you could light. They burned for quite a decent amount of time so I'm thinking you could possibly ...

Where do I measure from?
Or will it be written somewhere, on the hub perhaps?

Wanted: 26" Front Wheel

I've banjaxed my front hub from overuse and probably not enough servicing because I'm a bit lazy when it comes to these things. You can hear me coming from a mile away! Crunch, clunk, clank. I'm not so sure my wheel is worth repairing so if anyone has something to offer I'd love to hear from you. Me...

3/3 for me. I found a den in the woods so I decided to bivvy alone. Conversation was a bit one-sided, but I gave it my best shot.

Bivvy a month-February.
20 miles there, 50 miles back. Caught two ferries, missed one. 2 Bikes, a hill in a dark skies reserve, and strangers in the night.
