Re: 10th successive Tuscany Trail :)

That sounds great Gairy, I’ve often thought about how the route had changed over the years & what would make the ‘best’ route. You must easily be the best qualified! The year we went through the higher ground, I bet would be great without all the mud! Really interested to see your route & bu...

Garmin Screen Protector, do you still bother?

The screen protetctors on my 830 & Oregon 600/700 are looking a bit tired, & instead of replacing them i was wondering if i should even bother. I know the older Garmins needed doing in order to prevent scratches over time causing the screen to look, 'cloudy'. But does anyone know if the scre...

Re: Bivvy a Month 2024

Many years ago we took the kids to Greenwich and part of the journey was by River Bus from Charing Cross. From there down river we pootled along at about 1 or 2mph, sorry knots, or something, a bit like a floating brick, pointing out all the sights etc. Kids not all that impressed. Then just after ...

This might be stretching the bargain thing, but instead of selling both kidneys, one might do. There’s some offers on Oakley's, including their prescription lenses, the best being 25% off till the end of March-

9mm you say Wotsits. I'm already too far gone beyond that now. The 9.5mm grinder is now a loose fit in there and mot got the calipers (measuring) in there but I'd say I'm at about 11mm hole size now. Maybe shortly I'll let out a few yelps of relief - Alhamdulillah - that the threads have started fa...

Also have a search how to use them as they ideally need to be used at a high rpm. These are better than the tapered type ...
