Re: Travers Ti frames - pay what you can afford.

People seem to be getting a little off topic, I was trying to make a genuinely nice, fair and creative offer, share a little love and give back a bit but things seem to have descended into the old "the standard BB I like is better than the one you like" argument! For what its worth my reas...

Re: Travers Ti frames - pay what you can afford.

Oooh, you are an evil man! Putting temptation in our way. Does the frame come with new garage for storage? PS: PF can go in the same bin as sprouts and Marmite! I suggest you buy the frame (bike Build) and let the bikes fight out who stays in the garage, As I said above I can thread the PF30 ...

Re: Travers Ti frames - pay what you can afford.

That DirTi is lovely. Pressfit bottom bracket though I was just looking at the DirTi too, why, why? Pressfit is proven junk, why do people still bother? Morning, I dont want to get into the PF30/is crap or not. I know some people have had bad experiences but that is down to poor frame tolerances or...

Re: 29 plus carbon fork options

The Prong is probably a bit short, it was designed around a 100mm fork.

I am just in the process of developing The Prong II which will be 120mm compatible (No delivery date yet as Covid has pushed things back a bit) but aiming for later this/early next year.

I got to the pub at about 115km in and had to DNF because my GPS died. Great event, thanks to Stuart and Dee for putting it on. The push up to the wind turbines and some of the river crossing will haunt my nightmares for years to come! The only other time I have ridden the BB200 was back in 2014! I ...

Re: BB200 planning

I cant decide on what to wear on my feet. Winter cycling boots or normal cycling shoes, with it being wet but not too cold and with the rain forecast they are not going to stay dry whatever but I am thinking it might be worth using the boots just to keep my feet warm over night. It looks like clothi...

I have run Knards on Stans Crest rims without any issues (on the trail) but I did find that the area just above the bead did start to wear and small holes became visible (stans fluid bubbles out) These soon sealed with a spin of the wheel and I didn't notice much drop in pressure over the next coupl...

How many bottles do most people plan to ride with? I think I have the food sorted but the drinking situation does concern me.
