Mentioned wrt to my 10 yr daughter tonight, she thought it sounded great. She clearly has no idea what she'd be getting into but liked the idea of cake. We're cool wild camping / bivvying. We can handle some type 1.5 fun but I'm not she is ready for full-on type 2 just yet. Would 'lite' be doable? ...

Hope ok to ask for ideas for a caravan site on outskirts of Paris to base at for the TDF finish weekend. We'll then continue our hols journey south......
