Looks manky to be fair! But then I work with cakes these days  Why not do a lemon drizzle, but use orange juice/zest, then after the sugar top is on stick a layer of chocolate on? It's like a huge jaffa cake (sort of). :ugeek: You could try it with mixed fruit in, but I've no idea how that migh...

There's the waterfall near Laggan Wolftrax I think is the first 'on purpose' wild camp. Lovely place and you can swim up to a pool then up a mys...

Ah great to see pegs coming back, especially that old topic! Had some frustrating rock/peg happenings when I was a bit tired last week so need to replace a few! :o

Those alpkit Candy Cane's look good, and the best on the bendiness/weight scale from that old topic. :-bd

Next you'll be saying we don't need to spend the price of a 2nd hand car on a bike and "luggage" - and handlebars don't need a hole in the middle! At least let us continue to not have fun...

Can you attach anything/gorilla cages with a hole to the lowrider bosses and use jubilee clips/bottle cage clip things to get the other holes too?

Looks like a great route!

Seems a reasonable amount of stuff - especially if you're not using a backpack. Should be a good ride!

Re: Sterilising/cleaning a hydration bladder.

If people do want to dry them out completely, the golf practise balls are pretty useful to keep the bladder 'opened up' to dry out. Not so useful for the tubey bit though. https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEORX-24pcs-Hollow-Balls-Practice/dp/B01EJK590W/ref=sr_1_4?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1471379136&...

At Corrour bothy? :???: I guess as it's so popular you will get some dregs making their way out just for that sort of thing. That said, I'm in the unofficial MBA bothy group on facebook, and there's people asking about which bothies you can drive to, and which ones will be empty so they dont have to...

Re: Avoiding Saddle Sores...

Do you think bikepacking will ever be an Olympic sport?... How vaguely exciting would that be? Not limited by length of course, but started on the first day of the Olympics and finishing on the last day. Competitors have to bikepack a looping route, unsupported for the entire Games. First disciplin...

Keeping them in the freezer is a mould-saver too. Also just water. Energy stuff in a regular bottle is bad enough!
