Re: What you done t' your bike today

Used a wax lube on my chain, time will tell, but it's smooth at the moment.
Great for road . Off road it seems to just give up very rapidly. Ie fine at start of a local.loop shot after 10 miles ( still use it but mainly for start of an ITT )

If yours works better let me know what brand it is

It is insanely light an...

Plenty of people/ groups pull up the ladder after they get what they want/ dont care about others unfair access...yes walkers i mean you. Right to roam is required but the wealthy own the land and the government . Still thinknwe argue its the price they pay for subsidies - if you tale public funds y...

Re: Northwest England 2 dayer

Locally ( just up the road from you) haigh hall to rivvy and then the west penine moors would be the only option ( with hills). Not much bridelway to Formby nor hills. Return leg from rivvy would be a bit dull and mainly leeds liverpool canal but you could do it 90% ish off road . You would want adv...

Re: Northwest England 2 dayer

Probably the best to ride from home( never done it ) but peak district , yorkshire dales , and lakes are all within an hours drive.and provide options/routes/choices.
Really depends on how far you want to ride and how hard ( height , technical and hike abike or not ) you want it to be

. The modern 11 speed mtb cranksets would actually reduce my gear range Get new rings and presumably we all have one spare in the parts bin or get second hand cheap. 104 bcd is 26 ( absolute black) to whatever you want. I agree its daft they dont do essentially mtb gearing for drop bar but its nit ...
