Re: HT550 2023

I think it looks seriously impressive , all of them do and she will be fine. Not many cyclists could complete that route* [ either fitness or technical] and anyone who can do it is a true hero in my eyes , she is still moving and she will finish. Also dont forget many of the others are either the fa...

Re: MTB up - an Everesting journey!

Agreed about terminology (and had to look it up).. soz. i did not think there was intent I briefly looked at everesting, till i realised how many miles were involved, and they advised 10% for an amateur and 12-14% for a pro ,this was road. Time wise how fast you can get down is pretty important as ...

8mins separation, insanely close for such a long " race"

Will they be able to see each other for those who have done the route?

Re: MTB up - an Everesting journey!

Also glad title was changed for same reason -not a word to be used IMHO- as its easily misconstrued.
One last pic of Back Lane, which from the picture looks deceptively sedate
Just looks very familiar -personally if its what i think i would go with MUCH shallower

Re: HT550 2023

dry and dusty is going to be much faster than wet and muddy [ not that this should diminish their achievement]

Stunning the speeds and distance the pointy end of the race can do.

Sorry to hear that , always next year ,and at least it was a mechanical rather than a lack of willpower or legs.

Bit more effort and you could have got an everest in
How you can do nearly 10 mph for 300 km is something i will never know.

Chapeau

Re: HT550 2023

why has he’s started so late? Up there from landel [ on Kurts instagram] Things don't always work out as planned, and usually the best one can do is adapt and roll with it in one manner or another. It seems like I managed to come down with a cold while traveling despite my precautions, so I'm delay...

Thats what i do - though i would pushing on the bit they are carrying, I carry because its the only way or at least easier/quicker - pushing there looks way easier [ its not that steep or rocky]

we are trying to be helpful, though I get why you think its not, and tubeless also allows you to run at lower pressures and is way cheaper .
Good luck getting an answer.

heaper and I think better design.
Which one works as a joystick mount?

I would love a cheaper version as it is pricey [and i also broke one so its not that well made IMHO]

Re: Puncture Protection

It does give sidewall protection but only a few mm - hard to tell exactly how much. My main objection is its not at all cheap at £50 per tyre [ the non tubeless claim a life of 4000 miles] I can see the "run flat" as an advantage but doubt its that effective off road for much distance and ...

Re: HT550 2023

I dont really see any advantage to one, unless you want to take more /heavier stuff or possibly your dropper still works?

everything breaks but if i have to do a trailside repair i fancy my chances more with a material bag than with a tailfin
they are also somewhat pricey and somewhat heavy
