The original had a profound effect on me, I.e. doing the TD. Worried this might be flogging a dead horse though.

What is clear to me is that bikepacking is similar to wave theory. Its state depends on the observer. Theres an article in there somewhere

Re: Is this 'bikepacking'?
Many years ago I got a ferry to Cork with my bike a saddle pack. A plastic emergency bivy and a credit card. I had no pre booked accommodation. I found it on the way. I rode to the north with no flight home booked and no fixed route plan. So was this bikepacking, touring, credit card touring or stup...

ootball and tennis have rules written down and governing bodies. Indeed but who wrote them down and decided what they'd be? All that running about looks like hard work, I think it'd be better if running about was limited to 5 minutes because that'd suit me better  Walking football for you the...

You are exactly right in my view Hyppy. Our work is targeted at walking trails at the moment and we don't plan to go near cycling a...

Re: Todays ride
I came across a roadie yesterday looking very forlorn with a semi inflated rear tyre. He could not get enough air into it using his pump and asked to borrow mine. A quick inspection showed he was using a presta adaptor in the schrader end of his pump. I gently inverted it and inflated his tyre using...
