Re: Apidura food pouch Vs Alpkit Stem Cell
It's difficult to find an Apidura review that isn't written by one of their brand ambassadors; http://www.cyclinguk.org/sites/default/files/file_public/201511022.pdf CTC commissioned me to write this I never heard a word from Apidura and am not a brand ambassador. I like their kit a lot and having ...

Plantar fasciitis
Woke up this morning, got out of bed and can hardly walk due to real pain in my heel on base of foot on left hand side. It is not there is I walk on tiptoes. Anyone else had similar and is this the dreaded "plantar fasciitis"? I cannot see any bruising or obvious signs of damage on the foo...

Re: Cambrian Trail - Ride Report (Very Long!)
Well done Richard I enjoyed that having ridden 2/3rds of the route in October. I had to divert off route at Mach due to a rally so stopped at Llanwrtyd Wells as I would not be able to claim a completion. I can echo the point you make about some demoralising sections. Some of these were probably more...

Spanish C2C Pictures
Last week 9 of us bravely rode across Spain using a fantastic route created by pistonbroke. Big write up to follow but here are my pictures

Apologies for poor quality of those taken whilst riding and also the picture of Andy B in his night time skinsuit.

3 gates and 1 e-fence ... if you'd ridden it and not taken the diversion......pistonbroke wrote: One stat that i found interesting, in the 1000km, 70+% of which was off road, we only encountered 1 gate and 1 electric fence.
Brilliant route by Duncan, thoroughly recommend anyone else have a go.

How to neutralise shoe stink
I'm sat at Bristol airport waiting for lift home after a brilliant nine days in Spain. Feet got wet a few times and also bloody hot. So consequently my MT71 shoes are minging...really bad, so bad I might need to go and sit somewhere else from myself. Is there anything anyone has done to mitigate thi...

Re: Wales calling Spain, come in Spain.
Dave calling from some village in the middle of nowhere. Utterly fecked after a long day. Tough riding but shed loads of variety. So far all we have eaten is egg in baguette. Injuries to date are a mashed arm, swollen plums and a face that got slashed in the showers. Snoring is off the scale. We've ...

Re: Things I learned on the WRT
1. Stuart and Dee always put on a top notch event. 2. Don't choose the windy road with no cars on it just after ordering a coffee and breakfast for the road - stick to the main road and some traffic queues so you can consume without spilling. 3. Wet fields on a slope are fine in a BMW (because Dee ...
