Endura MT500 MTB overshoes L

MT500 MTB overshoes size large. Few small holes in neoprene in base on one side and soles are a bit tatty. But these have hardly been used and are a bargintastic £5 posted (paypal gift)

Re: Scotland's West/North Coast roadie route (NC500)?

The road from Hope to Altnaharra is also lovely. Other than that I'd say you've made the best choices. We hope to work with the NC500 folk this year to come up with a more "cycle-friendly" route - particularly by avoiding as much of the A9 as possible. I also think the "wee mad road ...

Re: HT550 - 2017

I'd like to wish all the HT550 riders all the best for tomorrow. Especially STEVE LARGE. As many of you may know, this is Steve's third attempt at the race and he has suffered much misfortune in previous years. Therefore can I ask that the other riders treat this veteran with the respect he deserves...

Re: Frustration

I ride my bike. Seriously I never "don't" ride it, I just ride it a bit slow and look in the hedges for porn. I've found I can now ride off just about any injury. I have tried all the rest bollocks and it does not work for me. I'm a firm believer that the body gets the message and decides ...

Genesis Croix de Fer 2015 54cm medium frame only

The upside. Frame has only been used for 1400 miles riding LeJOG. It is bronze in colour. The downside. Frame needs a fork, cable barrel adjusters and the thing that routes the cables under the bottom bracket. It also has a fair few scuffs on it but the good news is that I've kept the spare paint bo...

Re: Plantar fasciitis

Dave, a mate of mine had exactly the same thing. Took months to diagnose it but turned out he had too high a cadence going up hills. He was advised to eat more, increase his body mass and use more power instead of just spinning. I know that bloke. Can't trust him as he spends too much time picking ...

Re: sore bum

I've swapped from padded shorts on multi-day rides to tri shorts which have a minimal chamois and no padding. Wipe them down every night with antiseptic wet wipes and my arse and no problems with sores. Worked in Spain I find that if it's hot (sweat) or raining constantly the bike shorts keep your ...

Bikepack Maps - New Version

I've updated the maps to include:-

-HT550 2017 route
-Cambrian Trail
-Braunton 150
-More right of way data

In doing this I've improved the rendering process so should hopefully be able to make much more regular updates.

Re: Apidura food pouch Vs Alpkit Stem Cell

It's difficult to find an Apidura review that isn't written by one of their brand ambassadors; http://www.cyclinguk.org/sites/default/files/file_public/201511022.pdf CTC commissioned me to write this I never heard a word from Apidura and am not a brand ambassador. I like their kit a lot and having ...
