Thanks very much for the replies. Some good ideas. Further complicated by carbon forks and seatpost. Think gorilla or anything cages are best on forks. And sling stuff under the down tube.

Slightly unique Sunday night puzzle!

He would like to come into Iran but needs to carry a little extra weight, probably on his forks which are elliptical so won't take the monkii cli...

Bivy/wild camping spots in mid Wales
Evening all,
Planning a ride down to Brecon from Chester area to visit a mate and looking for tips if anyone can help. The end of day one will see us around Newtown. Anyone have any good suggestions for spots to wild camp around the area?
Many thanks!

Re: WRT Pics
That's why I went for the troll, 29er parts are not as common outside of Europe and that states. I don't have a spec yet, got some ideas but nothing fully planned. I'm learning all the way and am fairly new to cycling, just searching through other people's specs and looking at the parts that come up...

So what now?
This years welsh ride thing was my first bike packing event, and it was an vaguely exciting weekend!
So what's next? Can anyone recommend any other similar events? I might regret saying this but anything with maybe a bit more of a competitive element?
