Re: Shindig: Final Call

That was my first Shindig and it turned out to be a cracking ride, great route, sunny weather and top people
to ride with in a fantastic area of the country.
A special thanks to Bryan for the planning and execution :-bd

Thanks for sharing that Ray, I see what you have written as a kind of therapy, if it was easy it would be no "fun" at all, you will be back :-bd

I am planning on riding the Capital Trail Wednesday/Thursday prior to the Shindig and was looking for somewhere close to

Re: Tour divide advice

I flew BA out of Phoenix worked well for me. Not a problem to get from AW to Phoenix all sorts of options. Just had a look on the BA site for flight prices :o Unfortunately the price of the flight is only the start of "the most expensive free race". Don't be put off, its worth every penny ...

Yep, I am up for the early start.
Possibly going to ride the Capital Trail earlier in the week, depending on the weather,
making the most of the trip to Scotland.

Re: Shindig 2015

Is the Shindig happening on the 5/6th September ?

Considering my options if I don't do the Tywi Ton, currently considering the Capital Trail followed by the Shindig.

Re: What motivates you?

I like to have a trip or race to look forward to which helps to focus my training rides and I also like to include running and swimming
in my week just to break up the routine.
I find the sunshine always cheers everyone up, perhaps you need a SAD light box to stick your head in !
