How Much !
I have been spudding around looking at different events and can't help thinking that pricing seems to be getting out of hand ! A couple of examples : The Transalba - £235 Trans Atlantic Way - £380 Could it be that I am getting so old that everything seems expensive or not appreciating the cost of or...

Continental 2018 Tyres
Where are people buying 2018 Continental Tyres ?
I have been using the CrossMax Protection 2018 model recently and have been very impressed, now looking for
the RaceKing 2018 model but I can't seem to find them in the UK.

Re: Talk me into doing the Italy Divide!
I rode it last year and it was a fantastic route Based on the 2018 route, what bike / tyres would you recommend? I've heard a hardtail with fast rolling rubber is a good option... But I suppose in April the weather could be quite 'dynamic', which might dictate tyres. That's an interesting question ...

Re: Talk me into doing the Italy Divide!
As Craig has said the route starts in Naples this year.
I rode it last year and it was a fantastic route, really enjoyed it, started in Rome at the Colloseum, went through Bologne, Florence, Verona and
finished at the northern tip of Lake Garda.
Plenty of ice cream

Lol Chickenlegs will tell you I did that exact same thing there. I can vouch for Dave sinking in that bog and he went in a long way, I only chuckled a little bit as he looked a bit p***ed off, not many minutes later he went to extreme lengths to get cleaned up by throwing himself in a raging torren...

Re: Terra Nova Jupiter
I recently sold a Terra Nova Saturn and a Nemo Gogo which had not been used for a few years.
I much prefer the Lunar Solo which is light and packs down well.
If you and your gear is wet a hooped bivvi is not a great experience.

Re: Inverness to South Wales
When I rode the Badger Divide route from Inverness to Glasgow I caught the overnight train from London Euston station to Inverness which gets you in at 8.30ish in the morning and no extra charge for the bike. The sleeping berths are not particularly cheap but it is a good way to travel to Scotland w...
