Re: January's Virtual Winter Event 2021 (Covid lockdown edition) Jan 9th and 10th
I’m not comfortable bikepacking after that announcement. See you all in 2022 I guess Maybe we could cycle past each other on a prom somewhere and just happen to stop to drink flasks of our own coffee 2 metres apart sometime 😂. Chew the fat, put the world to rights and something to try and stave off...

Re: FS: Ridgeline Grizzly jacket.
I would be tempted by that, but as you say, a generous cut. I looked up the medium on their website and it comes up as a 46 inch chest!
That's a big old medium...
Shame, as I like a lot of kiwi gear. It just gets on with the job...

Re: Where is everyone?
I must say I have not felt that enthused about bike packing/camping/bivvying/going outside recently, so I haven't been looking as often as a result. Plus I don't feel I have much to contribute very often. I have really missed the BB events this year due to the enforced format changes. I get pretty l...

Re: Winter Event 2021?
Well, it's nice to know that many people would still be willing to partake - so thank you for that. However (knew that was coming didn't you), it's looking increasingly doubtful that there will be a winter event in January. I've looked at many different options - some don't even include travelling ...

Re: BB200 2020
Si, so is this the first year you've missed one?? I was hoping to have an interrupted CV of completions too but unfortunately after 20 miles (very poor do I know!) I chucked in that towel... But had a nice bivvy to make up for it before heading back to the car... Yep, this is the first BB200 I have...

Re: BB200 2020
The 200 is a definitely a mental game, rather than the physical for me. Most days of the week, I know I could ride 200km. However, add Wales, Stuart Wright and a clock and it's a different story! I love the event and the challenge it gives me, but I experience the biggest extremes of emotion when I ...

Feels a bit strange not being "in". I'm sure I'll cope, especially as there will be no mass gathering at either end...
Good luck to all who venture out for the 200 and 300.

What a lovely write up. Thank you very much for taking the time to record your ride here.
I really enjoyed that and am now inspired to get off my backside and explore some of the numerous lanes we must have here in South Devon.
I can feel a Lost Lanes purchase coming on..
Thanks again James.

Bellever is a magnet for this unfortunately. I know the problem is not unique to Dartmoor, but the f*cking mess left behind by such a*seholes beggars belief.
