Re: Can anyone ID this connector?

I used the xt30 version, that looks like the larger xt60?

The xt30 soldered up fine, just needed a bit of forethought to clamp/hold them in place then a quick bit of heat saw it done

Re: montane minimus mitts.

Sealskinz mits are good - I use them for skiiing abroad and have survived -24 with warm pinkies. But don't write off pogies as they really do make for cosy hands as well as keeping rain and muck off. Hot pogs plus sealskinz winter cycling gloves have kept my hands dry and roasting in some truly hor...

Os map symbol question...

 A bit embarrassing, I've used OS maps most of my life, but I can't work out / find out what the hell this symbol is on the online 1:50000 maps from OS?! Any ideas? https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5331/30642106545_17f1c1b4aa_m.jpg Screen Shot 2016-10-29 at 16.51.17 by drew Whitley , on Flickr th...

Re: Revo stand light issue...

Now thats interesting, as yes, I had been using the rear light attached. However, the picture was taken when unattached, but I assume that the capacitor may have had its charge diverted to the red eye port? Good knowledge there Taylor, thanks. Think i'll have to try without the red eye and see what ...

Revo stand light issue...

Hi all, My Revo has suddenly only started to light one of the 2 led's when on the stand light and it seems to dim faster than usual... No obvious knocks, bangs or other incidents? Any one got any ideas? https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5682/30535569871_30a18116d4_z.jpg Untitled by drew Whitley , on Fli...

Re: Routes from Corwen

Corwen to Pistell Rhaeadr on a bike I'd head down into Cynwyd (or even Llandrillo) and head SWish to pick up the track that leads to the Wayfarer track then down to Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, from there, there are plenty of bridal ways / tracks that you can link up to Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant and the...

Re: North Berwyn Way route help please

If my memory serves, you won't be the only tyre tracks up there. Also, unless you are sold on the detour north from near the edge of the Ceiriog forest, if you stick to the forest line, you should be on a track that will take you up the blunt ridge line towards Moel Fferna. As Stuart says, some of i...

Pearl Izumi X Project 3 Shoes

Hi folks, bought these from someone that had used them twice a little while back as I'd read very good things about them. What I didn't read is that they size up small, these are a 42 and very tight on me. I am usually in a 43 shimano so it was a gamble that I lost  Any way, great looking shoe...

Hydration bladder in a framebag

Morning all, After getting the bottle on the underside of my downtime covered in s**t all to often, my riding buddy suggested the obvious of reinstating the frame bag I ditched to carry the bottles and shove a bladder in there. I know a lot of folk from these parts have done this, are there any part...

I'd second that for a great comparison, especially on the beam pattern, as the K-lite head looks smaller than the Revo.

Re: FS: Planet X XLS

Very true Jamiep, plenty of scope for those taller, but I'd say not much if you are shorter!

Its a very responsive frame that rides brilliantly, just too similar to others bikes I have now.

If folks want to see it/check sizing, let me know I'm sure we can sort it out

Thanks

FS: Shimano XT I - spec B 10 speed shifters

Hi all, Just found a box of unused XT 10 speed Shifters m780-B-I in the shed, surplus to requirements. The left one can be set to 3x or 2x as I understand it. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1611/25209192781_07cbdac261_z.jpg Untitled by drew Whitley , on Flickr https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1530/249...
