Re: Naming bikes

Many moons ago I had a friend, who named his road and mountain bikes
Groover and Flinger respectively.
According to the effect they had on manure when ridden through it at speed.

Alpkit gamma has been semi permanently zip tied to my commuter helmet for the last three years.
Just about bright enough as a back up bike light.

So obvious it's not worth mentioning.

Hi I own a AAA L E D penlight that I bought off eBay for about 3 quid. I started using it when camping out in the back of my van. I naturally take it with me when doing an overnight-er on the bike despite the fact that I also take a bar mounted light and a helmet mounted head torch. I position it so...

Re: South Downs Way GPX file

Water stops nicely spaced but take 2bottles. The hills get bigger and bigger as you head east. There hardly any munchies stops! route easy to follow once you get clear of winchester. GPS for Dummies

Hi Ok so just for a minute, entertain the notion that I know absolutely nothing about GPS devices. Oh and nothing at all about GPX files and tracks and routes. I know, imagine? Where would you point a complete novice such as myself? Is there somewhere here on the internet that could supply me with t...
