OT: Free Motorbike Textiles

Ok, long shot but I know theres one or two ride motorbikes too on here. Dainese textile 2 piece. Jacket and trouser. No clue what model. I think still in pretty good condition but please bear in mind I wore these for about 40,000 miles in all weathers so there are obvious signs of wear and tear. Has...

I enjoyed that one a while ago. Not for the divide or for the riding in this case but for the guys attitude.

Re: Full Mudgaurds?

Fettled for a while and got fed up for tonight. What a sub standard product that is.

Blooming stays arent even long enough, bolts too short, front axle cant come out if you use spacers needed to make the silly plastic ends fit the fork.

Designed in the 90s i think. Poor show.

Re: Drivetrain 'Grind'

Interesting...

Its silent when clean, and not too bad half of the year. This time of year though, graunch graunch grid after the first 1k.

Might try a shimano chain next time, never used to get them due to lack of quick links but thats not an issue now.

Re: Drivetrain 'Grind'

Oddly mine isnt noisiest in the most extreme chainlines, its a few higher than the lowest. (2 or 3 down the cassette from the largest)

Wondered if there was a difference between sram and shimano, or anyone had reduced the issue with different chainrings etc

Drivetrain 'Grind'

Something I've lived with for a while. Whenever the drivetrain gets muddy (gritty here in the peak) it very quickly becomes very noisy indeed. I guess some of this is expected but I would be interested in experiences of quieter drivetrains. MY set up is as follows; Absolute black / hope / raceface t...
