Rear rack 101 required

Please excuse my spectacular ingnorance but I have used the search option on here and not found what I was looking for which is in some ways a bike rack 101. The rack I currently require is a short term fix for my Tripster whilst I wait for my Tailfin rack in April. In the Tailfin example one of the...

Re: Alpkit Kanga and muguards ?

Should have said, the bike in question is my Tripster. On my fat bike I just accept some crap is going to make it past my bar bag and thats ok for a day or two but I am planning on spending weeks or even months on the Tripster so some protection would be welcome.

Alpkit Kanga and muguards ?

Quick question, given the Alpkit Kanga's straps wrap over and under the forks crown is it possible to fit a front mudguard. I fancy a pair of SKS guards but before they go on my Chrizzy prezzy list I thought it best to ask the collective wisdom of the forum, thnx Paul

Barca and a train sounds fine and its a much better option than the grind to Stanstead from Warrington

@pistonbroke I'm free from the 11th and would aim to get home before the 23rd. Bike would either be my Tripster or my Canyon fatty depending on the route. Would like to get a proper bed and shower every third day if poss, thnx Paul

Re: Bike packing somewhere warmish in December – Any ideas ?

Btw, the one question I am really struggling with it what to do with my bike bag once the bike is assembled. Find a hotel near to the airport and book in the night you arrive and before you fly back. They'll usually look after it for you. I think that makes a lot of practical sense plus I get on th...

Re: Bike packing somewhere warmish in December – Any ideas ?

Btw, the one question I am really struggling with it what to do with my bike bag once the bike is assembled. In an ideal world I could locate someone localish to the airport and for a reasonable sum of money they would look after until I return. As for hiding it in the bushes or such like, you have ...

Bike packing somewhere warmish in December – Any ideas ?

Fancied doing a ride around and over Mallorca but all the internet chat says no wild camping, in fact it would appear to be an offence for which you can get a hefty fine for. I want to go for 7 to 10 days, fly from Manchester or Liverpool with affordable flights which Manchester to Palma was/is. Goi...
