Peanut buttermud clings to everything-locking up wheels within a few revolutions. I had a little bit in the great basin, but miles of it would be impossible. You get to the point where you can't go forwards or backwards - a dangerous place to be.

So, got chased through the basin by a massive storm/thundercloud, so when we (Brian and I were riding together) saw a load of oil Wells with buildings and a big hanger, trying a few doors meant we could get a heated balcony for the night in the warm and dry. I have one - very stable, but over 400g... I found that it affects the steering toomuch, and bar stability when manoeuvring the bike through gates etc, but I then cut down the brackets by 25mm and it's made a massive improvement, plus the weight has dropped to 375g.
