Re: 360 cameras anyone?

I had the Insta 360 original Changed it for the GoPro 360 But gone back to Insta with the X3 They have the X4 out now and both the X3 and X4 use the updated software. I lost my selfie stick before our Tiree trip and the wobbly one that had held the camera in place (but wobbly) on this film below sho...

Re: The post man's been ...

There's a short review of it on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaRNE7Jl9E8 Idiot proof? There's a programmer's quip: programming is a race between programmers writing better and more idiot proof code and the universe producing more and better idiots. So far the universe is winning!...

After losing my first drone in the Mersey, I vowed never to get another....... But this is hopefully idiot proof and cheap enough to lose  https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54002931809_6ff2edec6e_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54002612611_a33b056cb1_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr...

If that's the Longsdale Car & Coach Parking spot it's now chargeable, we parked our motorhome there (2 hours free, but chargeable after that now) to get lunch and ferry tickets before we drove to McQeens

Re: Bike packing the Hebrides

I know, but we didn't fancy parking our new motorhome in an open area, same goes for anyone with a valuable car or a van if they worry.
I wouldn't pay to use it with my Dacia, that's for sure

Bike packing the Hebrides

If you are heading over to the Hebrides and thinking of leaving from Oban.... I highly recommend McQeens Bros storage. https://www.macqueenbros.com/ We left our motorhome with them while we went to Tiree for 2 nights self catering (£400 for a 7.5m on CalMac) for just £15 a night for 3 days/nights th...

Re: Bargain Alert Thread

For those of us who signed up to OS Maps online last year my annual automatic subscription email arrived priced at £28.99. Still great value for money, but this was followed by another email offering new subscribers 30% off using the code SUMMERWALKS but £8.70 is £8.70 Of course this is offer is on...

Every day's a Friday for me...........
I can very highly recommend early retirement.
If you are in 2 minds about doing it and if you can afford it, do it.

No more Monday dread (even when I enjoyed my job)

Re: OS maps app on a phone

Update.
I was told
Download the GPX
Go to the download
Open it with OS Maps
Job done

Unfortunately, that hasn't worked on mine just now.
Looks like I'm have to call their tech help one day

Hi, if you are a Premium OS maps subscriber please can you check yours for me? I don't seem to be able to upload GPX files to routes on my phone any more. On a personal note, I've not ridden a trail centre at all since the MTB E Bike revolution started, I have no interest in fighting off motorbikes I wonder if others have done the same to lower the numbers.

Considering the slow lens and DOF, that's some damn good autofocus to pull that and not blur the panno.

One of your better shots - and you resisted over processing it :)
