Re: Clunkers Ride?

Wasn't there (pre pandemic) talk of a clunkers (or unsuitable) bike to ride to Bear Bones towers for a camp in the field and a bit of a knees up?

Have a little look around Hadleigh Castle/Farm, John. If you pitch late and leave early you should be OK
Thanks, anywhere else please?

The modern mountain bike riders batteries won't last 24 hours as yet.

Tighten up your rear QR or bolt through. Worked for me trying to save weight with a QR made of cheese and couldn't fine the creak, put an old school industrial one of that weight 4 times more, locked it and the creak went. Also (embarrassed to admit) I bought and fitted a new BB to the tandem becuse...

Lifting and carrying and mercifully limited activities for me. Most of the carries that I do are short and done with the shoulder under the saddle with the carrying hand under the downtube. If I had the sort of route where there are loads of fences and gates I would travel lighter. https://live.sta...

One more GR from the Winter Event for me, on my commute to work. The collective hive mind

Please don't think of this post as an advert, it's an ask for the Bear Bones collective help to give 2 young lads a bit of a helping hand and Bear Bones people are the best to ask about UK bike packing. As you may know I am helping Mikey and Matthew at Custom Merit Gear over in Amsterdam. https://ww...
