Re: MSR Miniworks Filter - Any good?

Cheers for the info fella's

I went and had a look today but it's a bit bulky for the limited use I will get from it.

I got an inline filter that connects to a bottle or can be hung under a bladder

Sold out here.

Do you use any tablets etc afterwards?

Is the MSR Miniworks Filter any good?

What are the alternatives to this and for under £90?

Re: A new camera

The pocket sized Canon S100 gives shots like these for under £100 Just out of interest where can you find this price? Drew I got it on line when the S105 was launched and the S100 was hinted about to clear out old stock for the newer models. Looks like the price has creeped up again because of the ...

Re: Solo bivi rides

Well I think I'll give it a go a week on Friday, (if I can get a pass and it's dry [wimpicon]) I think I'll ride from home, catch a ferry to the Wirral and follow the coast around it and down to the Llandegla trail centre. Bivi at the top in the woods and ride down for breakfast at the trail centre....

Solo bivi rides

Ok I admit it I've never solo bivi'ed before ---- There I said it.

Maybe I'm scared of the unknown maybe I've not got the bottle.

Tell me about your first solo bivi and if you've done it again afterwards because it was so good.

Any horror stories?

Route help needed please

I've had an idea to take the wife and dog for a bike bivi some time this summer, but and it's a big but..... I need your route help please. We're based on the North West of England and she hates camping but she is open to the idea of a wild bivi as a one off just to see what all the fuss is about. T...

Re: Got a Neoair? Dont like being dizzy whilst blowing it up

I use "The Instaflator" that I picked up cheaply on Ebay. It weighs next to nothing and doesn't put any moisture into my Neo. It even rolls up with it and both together fit in the Neo's bag http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJLVYfg88TE I'm not sure if this was the company I used, but it's ava...

Re: New old bike

Are you going to sticker it up again too? The Swift head badge will go back on it but I think it needs a new name and I'll get a mate to do me the decals. I'm thinking of Sweet dreams OMG SMIDSY - (Sorry mate I didn't see you) but what would the collective suggest a decal name to be for an High Viz...

WRT done on my full susser was a mistake and for the last couple of years I've used my Fat Bike which is perfect but it's very heavy.
