Tarp advice please

My tarp is 2.2m x 1.7m and I don't want to go any smaller, but it sounds like a bin bag in the wind in the slightest breeze.

So, what's the best tarp out there please?
Light weight, water proof, not silly money.

Links would be helpful to please.

Re: Long Mynd this coming weekend.

Cheers all, sorry I left early but with only a couple of hours sleep after my Thermorest Neo puncture I thought I'd leave with Mike where we split at the Long Mynd Trig Point. Re: Long Mynd this coming weekend.

See you tomorrow at the pub at 6 to 6.30,

I might drive to the pub and ride from there, or if I'm early enough I'll park at Church Stretton and ride over to see you at the pub.

I need to be away by 10am on Sunday.

What's the most fun way down the NW side of Long Mynd?

Re: Long Mynd this coming weekend.

Interested in joining you around 5pm on Saturday.

But still no PM back from Ian.

Does anyone know where you'll be around 5 to 6pm?

Are you eating at the pub instead of carrying food and cooking equipment?

Re: Llandegla bivy spot?

A word of warning if you ride a rigid or even a laidened hardtail, I got shaken to bits on my rigid Niner there today, it's really eroded and rocky in places, defiantly full susser territory now if you need comfort. If I were you I'd head to Clocaenog Forest and use the Llyn Brenig visitors centre f...

Ultra light tourer

Ok, so it's not my bivi bike but I've just received my fuel tank bag and set my CX bike up as a credit card tourer with a bit of a plan for mid next week. The plan is to ride the 174 miles of the Ravenglass to South Shields Sustrans route number 72 - Hadrian's Cycleway on this over 2 days. http://fa...

I've both Ti and Carbon plus normal.

I can't tell the difference. TBH.

Invest in some comfortable Jones H Bars for touring, so you have many different positions for your hands.
