Re: Water Filter
I had a water to go filter bottle. I found it impossible to suck through to get the water.
Used once and relegated to the top shelf of things never to be used again.
For me a pricey mistake, if anyone wants it they can have it

Permethrin works but is toxic to aquatics Life systems do it in a spray Spray on clothes and allow to dry and it should be ok Another option might be Tickless, I’ve not used but seen it in action in the forests of Finland https://www.purpleturtle.co.uk/product/ultrasonic-tick-repeller/?attribute_pa_...

I’ve got an old salsa carbon fork that came with a frame I bought. Would need to check if boost, is that of any interest?

Re: New (carbon?) wheels
Also consider blue flow wheels (Nottingham based). They build with hope if that’s what you’re after.
I quite liked their warranty when I was looking. In the end I’ve gone to DT Swiss rims and hubs, built by the Keep pedalling.
They’ve done all my current wheels and have been most excellent

Found this thread by chance as looking for an ultrasonic cleaner (with a heater)
Advice needed ….
What size do people use? I’ve seen 2.5-3lt ones on Amazon, but unsure about size. (And dimensions of the container.
Width v depth etc
Any recommendations on Brands I should be looking at?

Re: Hot 1: hat 0 - what lightweight oven mitt?
I did my handles with red heat shrink - works very nicely
Edit…. Noticed the burn at the bottom. Make flame smaller and doesn’t happen.
Tricky with with meths burner I know (I use gas so usually set flame to no larger than mug diameter)
