I was told by the vicar when I got married that "A happy wife is a happy life". I have the tracking subs. ;) lol :lol: As far as tracking subs are concerned, if your annual subscription were to expire in July 2012 and you forgot to renew them, tracking still works up to mid-Feb 2013, but ...

So far the current set have lasted about a year with sending the occasional OK to the misses but I can imagine the tracker ser...

Re: Hydrophobic Down Jacket

There is a review of the Ilam here http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/reviews/other-clothing/insulated-clothing/berghaus-ilam-jacket/37395.html Gets a good write up and the extra 100grm over the Ghost whisper is worth it to have a more versatile jacket IMO. Rab are also coming out with a range of hydropho...

Well impressed with that minimal list, what does it all weigh?

I can think of a couple of more items;
I hate to be the one who brings this up but Small First aid kit?
Also shorts/pants - Personal choice really but I find sleeping in my cycling shorts leaves me prone to saddle sores :oops:

The trouble is, accidents can happen anywhere. I did some work for the FC a few years ago at CYB shortly after the new trails opened ... there were a lot of accidents and it was my job to find out why they were happening. I remember that one chap had taken a tumble right on the last step/drop of th...

Re: Photo comp worry.

Sorry Ray didn't mean to worry anyone :? Ironically my accident gave me more faith in getting out of situations and I now always leave a route plan with ETA's and bail options so people know where to find me if worst happens. I got a SPOT to provide some reassurance to the other half. My first prope...
