Re: How often do you take a stove?

99% no for me.

I've never once even tasted tea or coffee (and the smell keeps it that way) and so I'll only take a stove for a stealth overnighter when I'm heading off somewhere remote and fancy cooking a nice warm dinner at camp.

Which reminds me, must do that again soon.....

I think it was last year when we did the Tuscany Trail there was a guy using one. He was towing a Bob trailer with 3 (?) Spare batteries in it. Didn't help him too much when the Bob got a puncture though..
I don't think it was as you didn't ride it last year! :ugeek:

I think this is an absolutely mind-blowing performance by both Ginger Baker and Tony Allen - two guys at the very top of their game going at it.

Re: Now This is a DB MTB!

As a taller gentleman I'd be very much up for trying a 36" wheeled bike. Obviously suited only to certain applications and definitely not for others but nothing overly revolutionary to see here. It's likely to accentuate the benefits of big wheels to the nth degree and equally the negatives of big w...

Good work everyone!

I'll weigh-in tomorrow but not hopeful of a good result.

Been a very hectic week and as a result there's been some light cheating. Nothing major but not been as on it as I'd have liked.

Re: What do you think about when you are riding?

For me there's no one definitive answer. Like there's no one definitive bike. Or one definitive type of riding. When I ride my bouncy bike down ma-hoo-sive mountains I get crapola-loads of adrenaline and mostly make motorbike noises in my head. When I ride my hardtail through alpine singletrack I'm ...

I blimmin' loves music I do! Completely uninterested in irrelevant chart bobbins but pretty much every other genre has something to offer. I'll check on my Solaris when I get home tomorrow but I'm running a 2x setup and in my head it's 11sp with an 11-42T out back (but I could be totally wrong).

Anyone got a Cambium C15 they could lend me to try out? Either carved or solid doesn’t matter
They're quite different (the carved and non-carved - as well as the C15 Vs 17), much more pliable.
