think i need a new drop bar bike,something to take a 29x2.4 tyre,a tall headtube 150mm plus,560mm seat tube something with loads of bottle mounts on the forks.bike will be used for bikepacking trips like torino nice
im a big guy so poss steel or titanium frame.matt

£850 delivered to my door. Full custom 4.8 tyres with as many mounts and whatnot as you fancy. Just as another option if full custom was something folk are looking for. Looks nice but nothing special. I'm not even sure there is a 5" tyre these days. The Snowshoe XL was always touted as the widest but that's 4.8" now and that's been a "common" size for a while. No frame/fork lugs for racks and cages which would put many off. Cost would be intere...

my take on this is to invest in property buy a sub standard house in the best street,renovate it and sell it,keep doing that for 20 years and hopefully your last house is worth a million quid,then sell it and retire buy a custom built bikepacking bike and fook off exploring find some sexy female cyc...

ive never read a book in my life so far,
what do people get from reading a book,does it give you a better life
just seems a waste of time to me,there are other things more important to do

got the electrics in last week,sparky put a wifi fused spur to programe the outside lights,i can set them to come on at 9pm and switch off at 11.fitted the steel security door today,get the electric door next week

i routed all my cables to exit at the rear of the bars to make it easier to mount the bar harness,when i fit cables now to any bike i all ways fit the bag harness first then route the cables accordinly

been struggling with the riding position on my 2018 salsa fargo,so fitted a pair of surly truckstop bars and a 90mm stem,the bars have a 30mm rise to them making more upright riding position. the salsa forks come as 260mm standard steerer tube length what ever frame size you get which is a bit naff....
