Costa del Sol trails

Hi All
Just returned from a week in Nerja, Andulusia. Beutiful area with stunning scenery, however very little if non existant trail/ footpaths or you end up in farm feilds or allotments. No coast path etc are very indistinc trails.
the only guide book i could find has been out of print for a while by Elma Thompson

Is this usual or better experiences

I've been riding in the Ronda region these last few Mays, hiring a bike for a couple of days and following recommended routes. Lots of farm tracks, some not-yet-built roads, but enough fun singletrack to make it interesting. I'll likely head up to the Sierra de las Nieves this year as I've been told there's fun to be had up there too.

I'm seriously considering a bikepacking trip in the area October/November time.
