Quick Cairngorms Loop Question.
On the approach to the Fords of Avon does the route come down Strath Nethy then head East to the Fords or does it go round the East side of Bynack Mhor. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ray, it heads over Bynack Mhor. Strathnethy is all kinds of unpleasant! Head along toward the Ryvoan pass and take the right turn signposted to Braemar, simples.

Thanks Gari, thats what I thought .

I am a bit confused Gari. You turn right at the signpost, but the sign is pointing left to braemar.Gari wrote:Hi Ray, it heads over Bynack Mhor. Strathnethy is all kinds of unpleasant! Head along toward the Ryvoan pass and take the right turn signposted to Braemar, simples.
Or you have just come along the path that would have lead to braemar.
I have a really poor memory of the route.
Chris

Coming up from Glenmoer it's right to Braemar, not sure about the sign, it's been a while since I took any real notice of it!

Right at this sign!
PS Bynack Mor (no "h" - and no "e" which the OS seem to have added either!)

Nope. Haven't a clue, and I probably passed it twice....
Re: Quick Cairngorms Loop Question.
My OS had it spelt "More" so I spelt it that way, then I saw Gari's spelling so hastily edited it. Turns out i'm still wrong .ScotRoutes wrote:PS Bynack Mor (no "h" - and no "e" which the OS seem to have added either!)

Got a pair here - was going to launch them over the back fence as I hated them but could supply for a small fee. PM me
You going to do the CL Ray? bit easy compared to your B350!

I'm not sure they're still available. That could be an appreciating asset you're sitting on.htrider wrote:Got a pair here - was going to launch them over the back fence as I hated them but could supply for a small fee. PM me
I love mine and use them most of the time on the Pact. The one reason I'd consider Di2 gears would be so I could mount a remote gear change switch on them.

No, just using a small section for a bigger route.htrider wrote:You going to do the CL Ray? bit easy compared to your B350!

I have them on a couple of bikes, but I'm coming to the realisation that I don't actually use them much at all.ScotRoutes wrote: I love mine and use them most of the time on the Pact. The one reason I'd consider Di2 gears would be so I could mount a remote gear change switch on them.
