Madison luggage.
I see that Madison are going to launch their own range of luggage later this year. The bumph says it's aimed at the budget minded bikepacker ... which I find a little odd given that they want £40 for this:
Pic robbed from under the noses of STW when they'd popped to the loo.
Yet, you can buy what appears to be virtually the same thing from PlanetX for half that amount.

I'd trust Madison over Planet X any day of the week. Three orders from Planet X and all were either faulty or the wrong order!
Does annoy me when all the new people to the market launch their kit and don't think of packing out the bags, would make it look much better!

I saw the article on STW. Would definitely prefer the Madison article, and presumably through their distribution network it'll be easy to acquire in your LBS

So, let me get this right - you'd pay double the amount for the same thing?
I do appreciate the comment about LBS Ben, although I'm sure the vast majority will still be bought on-line.

I can choose the type of people I buy from. Incompetence can be excused. A corporate culture of lying? Not so much. Cutting my nose off to spite my face? Maybe. It's my money though.

Obviously a matter of principle then Colin - I can't argue with that.I can choose the type of people I buy from. Incompetence can be excused. A corporate culture of lying? Not so much. Cutting my nose off to spite my face? Maybe. It's my money though.

Oddly, I agree with you. One of the companies I now refuse to deal with.
