Should be fine on a crosser / adventure type bicycle Mart.

Change of plans - some places have been made available on a 400km audax the same weekend I wanted to ride so I'll be doing that instead. It does go to Aberystwyth though, so I'll wave if I see you.

What's the thoughts on eating on Saturday evening? Are there meal opportunities or are people taking cooking kit?
Just working out logistics.
Thanks in advance.

My thinking is to stuff my face with ... a breakfast, ice cream, fish and chips and more ice cream on Sat, then just carry a few bits for the return leg. I don't envisage a late return on Sun morning.

I'm more concerned with when I'm going to sleep!

I might, on infrequent occasions, have been the last one up when bivvying out, I like to sleep when I can. Missing a nights sleep is only going to exacerbate this. Might have to find somewhere for a snooze when we arrive on Sat morning

There'll be no need for a six pack on full burn, seriously, it'll be like riding in daylight and that spoils the fun of night riding

I reckon my bar light will be running on low most of the time with the odd stint on medium for anything techy

Stu, have you got a general area in mind for the Saturday night bivi? Thinking of riding in from the south overnight Friday night to meet you all at the seaside and then maybe ride out to the bivi spot with you if it's not too far north before heading south again Sunday.
We go out into the hills to lose ourselves, not to get lost. You are only lost if you need to be somewhere else and if you really need to be somewhere else then you're probably in the wrong place to begin with.

Likely to be Elan valley but probably the northern part.

Thanks Stuart. I'll play it by ear and see how I get on; got all day Sunday to get back I guess!
