Eventually got round to sorting out my phot's from this event. Mostly they are of the 13 controls with a few extra's.

It was a nice day out. I had ridden from Dunkirl to the start and back again afterwards ending up with 750km for the week. I did see Rich and Tom a couple of times. They left me at the start and then after about 40km appeared in front of me. I then took a right turn as they continued ahead and when I got caught out on a sandy track I saw them pass me on a parallel track. I veered from my route a short while later to follow them only to take a wrong turn and never saw them again.

I nearly quit at Yerseke as I was 30km from the finish but to hit the last couple of controls meant a further 94km and it was beginning to get dark. Pleased I manned up and finished at 1.30am.

Zierikzee looked a lovely little town and I hope to return under more romantic circumstances. Perhaps.
